Based on astronomic solar movement, our control system allows a shadow-free movement every time of the day and every day of the year.
Tracking algorithm is based on solar time. Our tracking algorithm can be modified depending on field slope, module size and each particular detail of plant configuration to get an optimal tracking movement.

To avoid shadow on the modules during the early and late hours of the day and during winter months our control system uses a back tracking algorithm, which modifies module orientation from their theoretical position. The control system works through a master PLC connected to slave PLCs using ERCAM designed communication protocol (ERCAM_BUS).
The master PLC sends demanded theoretical position to a number of slaves PLC's. The slave compares demand position with real position, and actuates the system till demand position and real position matches. Master PLC can also receive real position for each structure allowing remote monitoring.
